Wonderful facilities and splendid service. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent air conditioning in hot and humid weather. Other passengers were a friendly and agreeable lot.

The scenery was excellent with several days of just cruising without shore stops. The only hitch was an unavoidable upstream occurrence of heavy rains which caused the river level to rise above anticipated height making upriver travel somewhat hazardous and forcing the cruise to terminate on time, but a couple of hundred miles downriver. American Cruise Lines was very decent about this and compensated us with a sizable discount on our next trip which we’re about to commence this weekend.

Onboard meals and beverages were universally excellent and the dining staff was most accommodating of all requests. Meals routinely provided a choice of three entrees at dinner and two at lunch, as I recall. I look forward to doing business with these folks again soon.
