My 9 yo son and I took this 7 night cruise while he was out of school on spring break. I've been on half a dozen ships, but this was our first with RCL. We had a blast! We did excursions at every port, dined in the MDR each night, I purchased the deluxe drink packaged and VOOM combo, and we went to a couple of shows. The basic rundown:

Itinerary/excursions: Key West, Cozumel, Belize, and Costa Maya. We love adventures and this itinerary was amazing! We did the Conch Train tour of KW. Loved it. Fun and informative, lasted about an hour, plenty of time to explore on our own once it was over. Went to Playa del Carmen from Cozumel and did the snorkel/cenote combo excursion. Skip the snorkeling and just go to a cenote. It is unlike anything we've ever done! We loved it! Snorkeled in Belize. The best snorkeling ever. Like swimming in an aquarium. Mayan ruins in Costa Maya. Very cool. I would absolutely do this exact same itinerary again, when it goes to Honduras, and only switch up a couple of excursions. They were that much fun!

Ship: Smaller with a little age on her, but the size made it easy to meet and see the same people all week. My son made friends at the pool and we'd see the families every night in the Centrum and talk about our days. The ship and crew had a nice, intimate feel b/c of the size. I enjoyed that. The overall aesthetic of the ship could use a little updating, but that's low on my priority list.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Oceanview cabin. Plenty of room, quiet, and we slept like rocks every night. I have to have a window or balcony so I can see the ocean. The view was exactly what we wanted.
