We chose this cruise because of the date and the home port. We cruised the last two times on the Oasis and wanted to go to other destinations. If you have read the reviews that others have posted they are spot on. The bathroom deal is weird, the pools and deck space are weird, and for a large vessel you will not find any large and roomy spaces on board. Not too many happy passengers were to be found when the conversations were about the ship. The food was good in the specialty restaurants and the dining room breakfast and dinners were also good. The bars were average overall and the venues tended to get a little overcrowded at times. Personally we will not book another Norwegian cruise and will stick to Royal Caribbean if possible on the Oasis class ships. They also have lots of passengers but you never feel cramped or crowded on their cruises.
