Additional details

Sail Date: Mar 2019
Cabin: Ocean View Balcony

RC Quantum of the Seas

This ship is aimed solely at the Chinese market. There is no incentive for others to sail.

There were large number of chinese personnel and although some are helpful, the level of service is noticeably poorer and disorganised.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 6D

About the only good thing about this cruise was the cabin.

Very spacious and comfortable and clean.

Port Reviews

River cruise at dusk to see the Bund and modern buildings lighting up, best skyline in Asia.

Visit Yu gardens and old town

Visited Dotonbori mad shopping distrisct

Gion , geisha district and small wagyu beef restaurants and japanese sake and whisky bars

Take the subway and go to the Nunobiki ropeway and herb gardens.

Good views of the city.

Walk down to middle station and admire the beautiful gardens and glasshouses on your way down

near the port:

Meriken park and area dedicated to the earthquake

Tokyo (Yokohama)

not enough time to visit what we wanted

Took the subway visited

Shibuya scramble crossing

Cherry blossom trees near emperors palace, however gardens closed on Monday.

Royal Caribbean should know this but obviously not bothered so choose this as a day to dock!
