Sail Date: Mar 2019
Cabin: Ocean View

We choose to experience the bigger ship but it fell short on expectations. Symphony dining was one third full with two people at 8 seater tables. Background music was so loud we couldn’t hear ourselves with the Head Waiter saying it couldn’t be changed as it was arranged from Miami. Some diners were dressed in singlet shirts, caps and thongs and the Head Waiter said they would be offended if told to change. This complaint goes back some years.

Windjammer buffet restaurant was noisy and food ‘just ok’.

Promenade Coffee shop - too small for a 4,000 person ship particularly on sea days and coffee well and truly brewed most of the time. Balconies overlooking the Promenade had lights shining into their cabins and noisy.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 8N

Sufficient room and Ocean View good. Bathroom was large enough although we aren’t large people. Cabin steward kept the cabin well maintained and was polite and watchful when we left and returned.

Port Reviews

Sydney (Australia)

Sydney is a top spot for travellers,

Noumea

Interesting, but not necessarily a ‘must see’ spot.

Isle of Pines (New Caledonia)

A beautiful day spent on Isle of Pines. Definitely a lovely stopover.

Mystery Island

Another lovely day trip by tender from the ship for swimming and relaxing.
