Just thought I’d share a few notes with our fellow cruisers out there. I’ve never written a review before so bare with me.

We started in Singapore, one of the most expensive cities in the world. It’s what a major city should look like clean, architecturely beautiful and easy to maneuver. Our hotel faced the iconic Sands hotel. This area is close to most of the attractions so the price point for these hotels are a premium. We went to the Longbar in the Raffels Hotel and had a Singapore Sling for $37.00us, ouch, but it was a cool experience. Explore and enjoy this city, taxis are the best way to get around.

The Celebrity Millenium has gone through a re-fit which,in my opinion is okay. The rooms lack color and feel cold. The closet just doesn’t work for tall people’s clothing although there was adequate drawer space. The tubs they used to have in the veranda suites have been replaced with showers, too bad. Public spaces were very nice but some of the light fixtures in the buffet area had bad placement by being to low and at times I’d hit my head on it. One other complaint were the chairs in the public spaces, they lacked ‘sliders’ on the bottom of the legs which made them hard to pull out or push in. On the positive side the mattresses were fabulous, new carpets, lovely to walk on, new lounge chairs by the pool excellent. That’s just a few thing that stood out for me.
