We heard about the Regal Princess, so we decided to experience her for ourselves and we were not disappointed.

We left Va. the morning before stopping for an over night in Daytona, before heading to Ft. Lauderdale the next morning. When we arrived at Port Everglades at 12:30pm, parked our car, made our way to the porters who took our luggage without a hitch and we were on our way in. Now this was our first cruise using the Princess Medallion, we had made sure we downloaded all our documentation into the Ocean Ready App before we arrived. We went through security, made our way to the Ocean Ready line and then right up to the Princess rep for check-in. He had us scan our Medallions, gave us a map of the ship and sent us on our way. We were on the ship the quickest we had ever been before!

I was in awe as I boarded the Regal. We had been other Princess ships before but something about her just made me feel at home.

Cabin IB

We loved our stateroom especially entering from the side by the bed. It had a lot of storage space, our luggage's fit under the bed and we have the hard cover type. The other thing we loved about the horizontal set up was that the bathroom was hidden from sight around the corner near the closet. It has a large desk top along with a lot of storage. We were really impressed, we will book this type again!

Port Reviews

Princess Cays

We disembarked on the second tender to the island so we were able to get us a nice spot out of the direct sun. It was nice to see that the damage from the recent fire was not really visible. We had a fun day in water and sun before heading back around 1pm to the ship. Getting back was just as quick!
