This Cruise has been on our "Bucket List" for the past ten years.
Earlier this month we eventually boarded the Hurtigruten, Finnmarken and was pleasantly surprised.
Being under the impression that this is a "working" ship, we found the amenities being similar and equal to that of other "Commercial/Passenger Liners.
Calling at most of the small towns on the Coast Line, makes this a wonderful experience, however the "time spent" at some of there ports do not allow Passengers to get off.
The food and selection thereof was great as well as the "Norwegian 3 Course Dinners".
The Dog Sledding and Snow Mobile Excursions is a must, as this was a thrilling experience.
If your budget allows it, book a Cabin with a balcony, as we could view the "Northern Lights" from our balcony as appose to going to the outside decks.
The only letdown is the fact that you have to pay for coffee and tea, which other Passenger Lines offers this free.
The cabin with a balcony was great and since this Cabin is on the Port side of the ship, you have a view of all the towns once docked.
