After sailing on the Pride last March and having a great time we decided to do it again. We had Faster to the Fun and after arriving around 12 we were having a Guy Fieri burger which were great around 12:30. Smooth and easy embarkation. After a quick walk around the ship, we ended up in the Red Frog Pub having our first cocktail of the cruise ( a fish bowl that was a half price special...great deal). We then went up to our cabin where we met our steward Dewa who was just awesome all week. At our Early time Dinner we met our waiter Luis and his helpers Ronald and Joever. Just excellent all week. Food was great all week and any request we had was accommodated with no problem and a smile. The atmosphere in the dining room is festive and fun led by the Maitre D. There are activities all day and night on the ship from Trivia contests to live entertainment, if you are bored on this ship you just aren’t trying to have fun. Highly recommend the Piano Bar, it seems to be a hidden gem that is really a lot of fun along with the comedy club where we found both the PG show and Adult show to be equally funny.
After 2 sea days, our first port of call was the beautiful Princess Cay. A great beach day with loungers and lunch provided. Just a perfect relaxing day in the sun. Just a tip the earlier you get out there the better spot on the beach you will get but with the plentiful loungers on the beach I didn’t see anyone that wasn’t able to get a spot.
Port of Call #2 was Nassau where we booked a See and Sea excursion through Carnival. Very fun day that started with a tour bus ride to do a little shopping and sightseeing followed by a boatride that took a group of 10 of us out on a tour of the shoreline to see the homes of several celebrities and fill us in on all the local Nassau information that was very interesting to learn. After that we switched over to another boat that had a bottom compartment with windows and seats where you could view the sea life in its natural habitat. From Sharks to Sea Turtles we saw it all. Lots of fun and the tour guides were fun and very informative.
5150 was perfect for us, it is an obstructed view but the balcony is between two lifeboats so the view is still very good and allowed that morning coffee late night glass of wine on the balcony that we loved for a great price.
No excursion necessary.... beautiful beach and provided lunch
Just some last minute shopping...I’ll say this, it was better then the last time we were there just because they have more there right off the ship then they used to.
