Overall, I enjoyed the cruise. However, there were several things Norwegian could have done much better.
Highlights: Spa thermal suite was very nice, have a room with a balcony if you can, GO at least once to the hibachi restaurant. These ports were fun, if you knew which excursions to do. I would recommend finding your own thing and not doing a ship excursion. Unfortunately, the staff was not friendly, service was very slow, and drinks were watered down, which is the main reason for the low rating.
Ship: The ship was nice overall. There were 5 slides, a rock climbing wall, a ropes course, and mini golf, plus pools and hot tubs. The ropes course was a lot of fun but they do insist on shirts with sleeves, closed toe shoes, and no phones in your pockets. It was open even on the sail days, which was really cool. They had a plank you could walk on over the water, with a guy there to take pictures. When you were done with everything, there was a short zip line back to the beginning to get down. That was a lot of fun and so were the slides. I didn't get a chance to try to the rock climbing wall, as it had limited hours. I didn't like that the casino was open to several floors, including the atrium. The casino was a smoking area and it drifted out into the atrium, which is where guest services was, as well as where they held a bunch of activities.
I loved having a balcony, as well as having a coffee maker and grounds in the room. The bathroom was decent and there was plenty of storage. It did get stuffy in the room at night, which made it a little hard to sleep. You had to put your room card in a slot to turn on the electricity but it would take any similarly shaped card.
Didn't do anything in Miami. Shuttle driver back to Fort Lauderdale airport was very entertaining.
The pool was nice and I liked the local vendors. Bathrooms were too far from the pool and the beach sand was terrible. I also disliked that ship packages did not carry over to the private island, which Norwegian owns. 5 bucks for a soda is outrageous.
