We chose this cruise for three reasons:
1. it stopped at many ports/countries we had never visited,
2. we wanted to be away for much of the Canadian winter.
The first cabin 4041 was HORRIBLE......don't take that cabin if you like to nap in the afternoon or are someone who goes to bed early. It is right over the Royal Court Theater and you can hear the bands playing!!
However, our complaint and request to move was handled by Noma, Reception Supervisor, immediately, finding us a more suitable cabin, 4164 and arranged that we remained in that cabin for the balance of the voyage.
Took the hop on/hop off bus
We had the most wonderful experience on the QM2 - Southampton to Hong Kong leg of this world voyage. Our dinner companions at Table 57 in the Brittannia Dining Room were a pleasure to spend time with, hearing their stories and life experiences, which made going to dinner a real pleasure. The service provided by our Dining Room Stewards was exceptional! The evening performances, guest lecturers, daily activities and of course, the on-shore excursions were well planned and for the most part, thoroughly enjoyable. A trip of a lifetime!
