Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony

We chose this cruise based on the ports of call rather than the cruise line. No disappointments with the islands we visited, all were very enjoyable. We did excursions at each port and they were as advertised for the most part. The crew on the ship was anything but Norwegian but were friendly and we had no complaints. We had a basic cabin with a veranda which was “cozy” but comfortable. The bathroom was tiny but functional. The restaurants were good, not exceptional, highly recommend the specialty restaurants although the costs add up fast. No shortage of bars but if you’re a bourbon drinker like me you will have very limited options and be prepared for “resort” liquor (very low proof). A special shout out to one bartender in particular, Leila, in the Gatsby. She’s not only the best on the ship but may be the best bartender we’ve ever met on a cruise vacation. We are not big on evening entertainment but if you are, it was very (sub)average. Despite the ships shortcomings, I would recommend this cruise.
