Have been on the Silhouette only once before, and this was our second cruise. We were a little apprehensive as we were really impressed the first time out. This time out did not fail to deliver. We were impressed again. The ship was clean and well oiled by the Captain and his crew.
The cabins were impeccable once again and our attendant Jannis was top notch. She greeted us every time with a smile - morning, noon, and night. Felt like we were part of her family.
Dining in Oceanview was over packed at times, but the quality of food - unbelievable. The Grand Cuvee staff made us feel at home. Ramburn was a top notch attendant and had great presence of mind towards our needs only after the first time.
As previously noted IMPECCABLE. Jannis our room attendant was polite, courteous, and made us feel like family. The bed was a little hard but was great just the same. Loved the layout with the bed next to the outside veranda.
We did it by ourselves. Took Broward County Transit to Hollywood Beach and used the Water Taxi Service. We also went to Sawgrass Mills Mall.
Love the island. Watched previous Cruise Critic results, trip advisors, and cruise friends. Walked through the port into town. Once we did the town thing - boarded a city bus and went to Palm Beach. WOW. But no places for your towels on the sand. Paid $5.00 a piece for a chair/ bench. Great just the same.
Through Cruise Critic, friends, and other cruisers - Woodwind was very much recommended. Did all the info and transactions through Ulf. Very patient with us.
Dee our guide and dive master - she was GREAT. I would fully recommend this outfit, and if ever in Bonaire again I would definitely do it again. They are but 5 minutes from the ship. Dee and the other staff took their time with us and were able to break the group up into 3, by experience. This was worth the visit and time spent.
