Crew, food and activities were top rate. We enjoyed the variety of sport activities available. The crew was attentive, polite and efficient and we found delicious food choices at all the complementary restaurants. Margaritaville has the quietest and most perfect complementary breakfast buffet outside on Deck 16. Moderno has a lovely complementary sea day lunch buffet. Embarkation, tender and debarkation processes were perfectly organized and ran very smoothly. The only disappointment I had was in the Rock of Ages theater show. I lay the blame on the choreographer, not the dancers and singers. It's a shame really, that show had so much potential, but the choreography was written for shock value. It got old fast. It didn't matter how many times they announced that the show was not for anyone under 15 or easily offended, having girls bend over for lengthy periods of time in thongs is not art. Having men pretend to play with themselves is not art. Cursing and taking the Lords name in vain is not art. Keep it classy Norweigan.

Cabin Review

Inside Stateroom

Cabin IC

This cabin was big enough for our needs. Plenty of storage for two. Hangers in the closet were a little touchy. They fall down if your not careful. Loved the glass shower doors. So much better than a curtain.

Port Reviews

New Orleans

Dropped off the bags with the street porters early at the Julia Street side entrance to the Riverwalk mall. Then we rolled our small carry ons up the ramp and into the mall and found the Cafe Du Monde mall restaurant to have some coffee and beignets. We made our way back to the Julia street port around 10 am, when embarkation started. Very nice.

Harvest Caye

The long pier at the dock is covered and has mist to keep you cool. It made for a very pleasant walk. The beach has many, many free loungers. Shade is a little tricky in the morning, so look for an umbrella under a palm tree. The sun rises directly in front of the beach, so by noon, shade is easier to come by, but loungers may be scarce. It was fun to watch the zip line directly above the beach. We were glad we brought water and Gatorade packets to help stay hydrated.

Belize City

We enjoyed the tender ride. The water is beautiful. At port we just walked around, shopped and used Diamond International WiFi. It's the fastest and you have 2 free hours.

Costa Maya

Loved this port. Carnival cruise line built it, so it has lots of shops, free entertainment - flyers, pirates and dolphins in a big tank you can pay to interact with or watch up close for free. You can pay to go up steps to the aviaries and walk swinging bridges between the buildings to feed the birds. There is a large pool and lazy river. You pay to sit in the loungers.

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Public bus vans cost $2.50 per person. They will stop anywhere if you flag them and they will honk if the see you walking around to see if you want a ride. Very safe and will take you to the favorite places...Royal Palm ($3 entrance), Public Beach, Turtle Farm($17 entrance). To return to port, cross the road and flag another one $2.50 pp.
