We enjoyed this cruise with my parents, celebrating a milestone anniversary with them. It exceeded all of our expectations! From the friendliness of the staff, to the wonderful meals, to the fantastic excursions, to the cabin we stayed in...everything was top notch! The servers, stewards & bartenders quickly learned our names & our preferences. We went on each of the daily excursions, as well as two of the optional ones & enjoyed each one - not to be missed! The tour guides were so knowledgeable! The cruise director talks each night describing the next day's events was very helpful. Our absolute favorite day was the day on the boat that we sailed past all the castles & churches - history coming to life! There were so many choices at all of the mealtimes, both in types of food & where to dine. Evening entertainment was fun - we enjoyed the music trivia night. The ship, rooms & dining areas were all very clean. Our trip was delayed by weather so we missed the first day of the cruise & once we caught up to the boat, the staff went above & beyond to welcome us & help us get settled in. Would highly recommend Viking & will certainly be traveling with them again!!
