Picked the cruise as a B2B with the Western Caribbean cruise leaving a week earlier.

Must preface all remarks that we were one of about 6 who developed Influenza A for the whole week. Also I am a retired physician. I caught this flu the last day of the previous cruise even though I was vaccinated. Likely came from another person who was not US citizen. Take-home—maybe consider getting more than one flu vaccine making sure you get the flu endemic to the area of travel. This flu is aerosol transmission meaning all the great handwashing will not prevent. And have to credit Pricess with running water hand washing stations at the Horizon cafe. Even though many just blow by with proper hand sanitation.

Medical staff was excellent. Didn’t agree with a one day quarantine, so stayed to cabin most of the week. Which was good as on day 3, I spiked a temp to 101.2 on Tamiflu and could have had full run of the ship.
