This was an anniversary celebration cruise with friends. We had excellent embarkation and disembarkation experiences...Princess does it right! Dining: We ate many meals at the Michelangelo Dining Room. I can't pin it down exactly, but felt the quality and selections were less than previous Princess cruises. On the other hand, we felt the Horizon buffet was much better than previous cruises. We enjoyed the International Cafe very much, using it for our specialty coffee orders, the outstanding apple donuts and the ability to just sit and relax and enjoy the entertainment provided...especially the Violin duo! Was not impressed with the Salty Dog but wife enjoyed it. Didn't have pizza this time but noted that many seemed to enjoy it. Crown Grill was outstanding but we went at end of cruise and it was just too much food! We booked an inside cabin and had no issues at all with it. Cabin steward did a great job with freshening. Entertainment was very, very good! The production shows were outstanding and the musicianship of the cast and band were excellent. Comedian was great and ventriloquist was good! Movies on deck were great! New screens are now visible even in full sunlight! We went on shore at every stop and enjoyed the Princess Cay water bikes and the Heritage excursion in Antigua. Wi-fi was lousy...but didn't expect much improvement. Only "complaint" was miscommunication on our anniversary package. Still not sure what happened but we were supposed to have two specialty nights. On first day, customer service said it may have been our Princess travel agent, but they didn't make any effort to make it right. On settling our account, the desk found that we should have had two specialty meals. Would suggest that Princess provide additional training in this area. Because of that, I didn't give this enjoyable, relaxing cruise five stars.
Excellent cabin for an inside cabin...bath and cabin were spotless, shower was outstanding. Bed was very comfortable.
