We chose this cruise as it was recommended by our travel agent. We flew into Miami, but just hung out at our hotel until we departed the next day. Very nice hotel, not much around to do, and pool was outside and cold, but it is January. Our hotel, the Crown Plaza had a big shuttle, only $10 per person, that took us right to the port the next morning. Very nice. Embarkment was fairly fast and easy. Need your travel documents and your passport as you go through. Well organized. The ship is absolutely beautiful. Crew all over the ship was wonderful all the time. Always there to help if needed. Our cabin, 13786, was very nice size, plenty of storage, very comfortable. Was worried about getting sea-sick as I do have vertigo, but never bothered me. A balcony mini-suite with connecting stateroom in the middle of the ship real close to the elevators. The shows, jersey boys and havana were excellent. Wanted to see the prohibition, but totally booked. Could have waited in line and maybe got in but didn't care to. The beatles cover band is very, very good also, but very small venue. Get there real early if you want a place to sit or even stand. The large Garden Cafe at the front of the ship has wonderful food and anything you want pretty much all day long. We went to a complimentary sit down restaurant the one day for lunch, the Savor I believe, opened at 11:00 a.m. Really good food, but took 1/2 hour to get our first drink, 15 minutes to get the appetizer and then only 10 minutes for our food, so have time on your hands. The cafe is much faster if in a hurry. Shore excursions were very well organized by the ship. Remember to bring your tickets for the excursions AND an ID with you. I did not bring an ID the one time because they didn't request it the first time and they almost did not let me back on the ship in St Thomas. My mistake. It is a little bit of waiting in line, but the excursions we were on were well worth it. Tortola; Island Beach Break, St Thomas;Explore St Thomas and Magens Bay and Nassau's; Blue Lagoon Island Beach Day. Just wish we would have had more time on each island. It goes so fast. We would have loved to get on the racetrack once or twice, but totally booked all the time with kids. Pool was always jam packed with no room. Sat in the hot tub in Spice H2O a couple times and layed on those chairs a few times as this was the adult only area, very nice. Excellent bartenders. We did not have children with and that's the way we'd keep it. We already put a deposit down on another cruise with Norwegian we much use within 4 years and we are looking forward to it very much. Disembarkment was quite a wait in line, but organized pretty well. Huge line on 7th floor of ship that circles around and gradually gets you to the auditorium where they take your picture and disembark. Have patience.....

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

Cabin pretty spacious for the two of us. Mini-Suite with balcony and connecting stateroom, mid ship. No noise interruptions, very clean, good size bathroom, no tub, plenty of storage. Wonderful location.
