We are not "professional" cruisers but have spent a fair share of time on various cruise lines. We are retired and in our 60s.

Two years ago We were enticed by the promotional material to book this brand new ship. The Rooftop Garden, the Magic Carpet, infinite balcony, etc all made it sound like a unique experience. It was pretty good but certainly did not live up to our expectations.

The ship experience begins with online express registration, applying technology to expedite the boarding. The focus on technology continued through the cruise, but not always successfully.
