Overall everything was as expected. Long Beach terminal does a really good job at embarkation, so that is a good way to start out. There were storms coming into California, so the first few days at sea were a little bit rocky, but I just took my Ginger Root and never had any problems with getting sick. My husband never has to take anything and never got sick either. I loved the sea days as it was a chance for me to just relax. There was plenty to do from Trivia, games, shows, comedy or just watching some movies in your room or on deck at night. I loved the amount of movies they had available in the rooms now. It was a little cool some of the days up on deck, so those who like to lay out in the sun were probably disappointed. There are plenty of food choices as with any Carnival ship and the service is always fantastic. It doesn't have some of the newer upgrades yet, but that doesn't matter to me. Even with the little bit of rocky seas the Captain got us into the ports early. The Islands were beautiful and nice and warm with just a little bit of light rain here and there. We missed out on Kona because there was a storm heading that way that was going to make it unsafe to tender over so we stayed in Honolulu for the night and the next day. Things can happen and it wasn't a big deal to me. It was a fantastic vacation and I would recommend it to anyone who loves sea days. Our 27 year old daughter was with us also and she loved the cruise also, but there wasn't very many people around her age

Cabin 6B

We love the layout of the cabin as it doesn't have overhead bunks, instead it has a couch that makes into a bed. This room is right over where they load and unload the luggage and products, so there is some noise while loading when you get on board and unloading when you get back. Also whatever latches that door makes a little noise when the boat is in a bit of rough water. Nothing real loud or bothersome though.
