Embarkation was a disastrous experience. There must a way to divide the passengers into groups with different time slots. It will definitely prevent queuing for more than two and a half hours. Some of the elderly people did find difficult to stand that long.
Disembarkation was much easier. The worst experience, however, was that we were left in the dark regarding docking. The captain should have kept the passengers informed with regard to problems that made it impossible to enter the port in Cape Town. The people on land were sometimes better informed than us.
The ship itself was clean and the majority of the staff friendly and very helpful. Our cabin was clean and the up-keeping was outstanding. The service provided by Mr Putu was outstanding. He was also very helpful in regards to stuff that was not part of his job.
