This was our 3rd Royal Caribbean cruise in 14 months. We chose this cruise because of departure city and also we had not been to three of the four ports. (Cozumel was common for all three our RC cruises.) This was the first time my wife and I had been on any kind of vacation by ourselves in almost 43 years! We enjoyed our time together
The ship is getting long in the tooth, very outdated and in need of remodeling. If I had to choose three great things it would be the
#1 Dining Room staff,
Smallest of our four cruises we have taken. Was a bit difficult getting out on the right side of the bed due to the cabinet be right at the corner of the bed when made into a queen. Not much hallway noise but did hear a tiny bit of what was going on in the Shall We Dance Lounge below us.
We used Lyft to get us from our friends house to the port. This was his first experience with delivering people to the port. It was not bad at all considering the third largest parade i our nation (Gasparella Pirate Fest) was going on that day. It was an easy drop-off. There could be better signage for those driving up.
Took a cab to downtown. Walked around for about 2 1/2 half hours and then went back to the ship. I wanted to go snorkeling and learned a very expensive lesson. Make sure you agree to a price before leaving! Also, if you plan on using your credit cards make sure the company takes them! Sky Reef Snorkel equipment and The Money Bar Beach Club DO NOT! Do your research!!!!! Taking an excursion is the only way to go!!!!!!
