This was our first cruise on the Oasis class, fifth on Royal Caribbean and fifteenth overall. The ship was at capacity with 6500 passengers and 2500 crew. With that many people there are a few unique adjustments. To attend any of the shows and some special events to need to make a reservation. We were anytime dining which also requires a reservation. Since no venue on the ship can come close to accommodating everyone at once this is a necessity. We did not feel too crowded most of the time but very crowded at others times. The Windjammer seemed very small to us for the number of passengers on board. This was our first ship that does not have life jackets in you cabin. In case of emergency you go to your assembly point were you would be issued one assuming the ship sinks slowly. Small point but golf balls were so light any wind at all made the putt putt golf impossible.

Our balcony cabin was very nice and the food was very good. We dined at the 150 Central Park, Chops and Giovanni,s, specially resturants and all were very good with excellent service. The ship itself is a marvel to just wonder around. The Aqua arena and the aqua show were fantastic. As was the musical Momma Mia. We have see it three times before and this was as good are better than any We have seen. The other shows were exceptional as well. The staff was very professional but I would say not the happiest we have seen, I guess dealing with this many people might make you somewhat impersonal.

This ship is a very family friendly and oriented with facilities and tv shows separated to newborn to 36 months, 4-11 years and 12-17 years.

Cabin 3D

This particular cabin had lots of room. A little limited space for toiletries but adequate closet space. Bed was Ok, not the best we have had but far from the worst. Clean, carpet in good shape, nice towels and wash clothes.
