I wanted the experience of sailing into Walvis Bay and seeing desert meet ocean. The day trip was perfect 4x4 adventure. The cruise sailed out of Cape Town ..spectacular views from verandah cabin. Heavy fog made 2nd night interesting with vessels horn blasting into the night. Strong headwinds gave us some rough cruising on way back to Cape Town. We had delays getting back into the harbour due to the howling Southeaster but the 2 days extra at sea was handled well by the crew. MSC MUSICA is a large vessel so long queues at all times. Deck space limited. The Restuarants were honestly a disaster and waiters way out of their depth. I gave up and decided to order room service instead. Two dishes for $5 plus service not bad. Ate in the peace of my cabin and able to keep abreast of news on TV. Loved the spa package giving me full access and two treatments. Booked pre boarding and saved.
