I have been on 9 carnival cruises. This was by far the worst!! We never buy excursions from the cruise but we did this time just in case of inclement weather. They guaranteed if it was inclement weather you would get a refund. We bought the Dolphin encounter that also included paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. we had the dolphin encounter but they cancelled paddle boarding, kayaking, and snorkeling. At first they blamed it on the weather. Which was perfect of the time no wind full sun 79 degrees. In the end the blamed it on they had no fish due to a storm 3 days prior....We were not informed until we were getting on the bus. We ended up having to pay for a taxi and pay for snorkeling on a different Beach. Which was amazing but we could have done it way cheaper without the cruise ship. The lady at the ship excursion desk was very rude and they would not compensate any of our money. Also our room person did not even clean our room half the time. We They only had one real show and that was the last night at 10:15 p.m. they cancelled the earlier show. That was the first time we saw the dancers and singers. The food was okay. The only thing good about the ship was the company we were in, the other guests on the ship, and our server at dinner Miluska. I think I may choose a new Cruise company next time I go.
No chocolates/mints on pilows, dirty towels from morning we're still on floor when we returned at night. Didn't have a towel animal til the second night...which is a big deal when you have been bragging about it to your first time friends. Not enough chairs on balcony and they wouldn't bring more when requested so we had to share 2 chairs for 4 people.
