Chose this cruise after a two week Eastern/Western Caribbean on Nieuw Statendam because 2 weeks is not long enough for flying from Vancouver Island and Carnival Magic was going to Belize and Roatan where we hadn't been before.

We also wanted to see how well Carnival did on a 7 day Caribbean Cruises as that seems to be their speciality.

Like comparing Apples and Oranges but was pleasantly surprised by the calibre of food in the dinning room...very good! I really liked the way they did a long Brunch on sea days and same on later docking time, port day. Elegant night lobster was excellent; the best I've had on any ship and my server asked if I'd like 2, that also was a first.

Not sure of Cabin category but was veranda and close to Magic Lobby elevators. Comments above...bed was comfortable.
