The destination was awecome. We loved Hawaii!

But, the food on The Emerals Princess was very disappointing. It was never hot on the Horizon buffet. The omlets were jujst not good, somehow and the selection limited, at least for my taste. The quality of the beef in the dining room was inferior to previous cruises. Somehow, we just never cared for the offerings in the dining foom which is unusual for us, and it was the same flavor palate each night. No Italian food in the dining room at all? That was a problem for a 2 week cruise!

Then on sea days they did maintenan painting on the verandas ( which was needed, The paint was rusted on our veranda and we were in a mini-suite.The floor on the veranda had paint splattered on it) We could smell the fumes on our veranda all the time which drove us inside. We could hear them chipping the paint which sounded like someone was banging on pipes. We complained and after much discussion, they stopped chipping the paint, but the fumes persisted. Read more
