Last minute cruise choice, been on Freedom of the Seas, and enjoyed it all. Liberty not as good. Cabin bathroom was dirty upon arrival, many "dirty" areas on ship. Service in dining room, cabin, and entertainment all great. Cabin, Ocean View on second deck, was fair size, and usually quiet. Ports were excellent, with Cozumel being a little crowded. Excursion to Tabyana Beach on Roatan was excellent. Some of the best snorkeling ever. Disappointments for kids with Dreamworks characters failing to appear for "Meet and Greets" with no notice from crew. Children stood around in anticipation, and were disappointed after a parent called guest services and were told "ALEX the lion, had an accident, and couldn't appear." The Adult entertainment was excellent with the exception of "Saturday Night Fever" which appeared tired and worn. Food was good, with Giovanni's and Chops being outstanding. Embarkation from Galveston was fine, but deembarkation at the end of the cruise was chaotic and disorganized. It took over 2 hours to make it thru customs.

Cabin Review

Cabin 1N

When we first arrived at the room, the bathroom was very dirty. Was taken care of by housekeeping. Room size was good, and the view was ok also. Heating and cooling good, but fridge maintained about 55 degrees. Lukewarm drinks for all. Lots of storage and super firm bed.

Costa Maya

Walked the port, some shopping. Clean and no hassle.
