This cruise was quite ordinary. Nothing seriously wrong but nothing exceptional either. "Dining" was more like a "feeding" and entertainment was not what Princess used to provide. We have recently experienced other cruise companies who are making great strides in "raising the bar" and Princess has not kept up with it's compettion. The benefits in the loyalty program are exceptional and that alone is worthy of our future cruise considerations. The itinerary had to be altered due to weather and sea conditions but Princess handled that very well. The two weeks were simply average and nothing to imprint in my memories. Regrettably, what will imprint is the surly impressions from the front desk staff. Not everyone is an experienced traveller and greater sensitivity needs to be implemented in the customer service training of these individuals. Much of the cruise was all about people doing their job but with little finesse or customer appreciation. Princess is a good product. Just GOOD...nothing more, nothing less. There is room for improvement.
