First time cruiser. Stayed in grand suite 6234. Do not have one bad thing to report. Our concierge Bing was fabulous and looked after our every need on the ship. Disembarked before everyone else at Noumea which was pretty good. Room amenities fabulous. Bed nice and soft (not too soft). Shower fabulous, robes a nice touch. Lots of room on the balcony. Definitely didn't get cabin fever in this room! Highly recommend stretching to a grand suite if you can save up or have the funds.
Coastal kitchen is FABULOUS! Head there if you have a suite. We didnt eat in the main buffet area the entire cruise. We had two deliveries of special treats to our room whilst we sailed. Nice touch.
Please note, if you don't want to sail with one thousand kids, book outside school holiday time. That's the only negative thing I have to say about this cruise - lots of kids running around. Oue fault for booking during school holidays though so we just escaped to coastal kitchen and our suite deck area on top for peace and quiet.
Far too many passengers for this little island. We got off first but soon we were swarmed with other passengers taking up our room on the beach (I mean literally putting their towels on top of ours - rude!). Would have preferred a stop in Vila so we could escape the crowds but a boat this size can't stop there.
We started with a hop on hop off bus tour then made our own way to le meridian for a drink.
Ate baguettes in town before heading back to the boat.
