Our embarkment was delayed because the Port of Tampa had been closed due to fog. So we were sent an email around 9 am asking us not to go to the port. We continued to get updates every 2 hours or so. Each said port was closed until around 4. Then the previous passengers had to get off before we could get on. Faster to the Fun paid off when everyone came to the port at the same time. After about 30 minutes we were able to get onboard. We went to the sit down restaurant for dinner and had a lifeboat drill at 11:30. That was the only part of our whole trip that was rough.

The ports were all lovely, the weather was fantastic! Low 80s every day. Our staterooms were had plenty of room and so did the balcony. The rooms only have one outlet and we forgot our power strip. Darn it! Charging phones was a bit of a pain.

The dining room food was average. The melting cake is great as always, the rest was ok. The service was usually good but not very fast. The deli turkey wraps and truffle fries were yummy! Sea day brunch was good.

Balcony

Cabin 8A

Plenty of room in the cabin for my husband and me. Lots of storage. Shower and bathroom were small as is common.

Port Reviews

Tampa

Due to the fog we spent longer than expected in downtown Tampa. Embassy Suites kept our bags and we enjoyed lunch and football games at the Sail.
