We booked this cruise for it's Itinerary. Especially enjoyed the cities visited and the scenic countryside. The Viking staff was professional, accommodating, efficient, but not intrusive. The cruise director, as well as, all the staff, kept us informed of all procedures and processes. We liked the basic all in one pricing structure. The boat was very clean and easy to navigate. An older boat, the cabin was still well appointed, comfortable and very pleasant. Transfers from airport, to and from excursions were excellent and extremely well organized. The guides for the shore excursions were knowledgeable and friendly. The tour coaches were modern and clean, comfortable with good views. Food choices were varied and plentiful. We really liked the menu items suggested by the region visited. By the nature of the cruise the entertainment was limited, but good quality, fun and relaxing. We would definitely recommend Viking river cruises and plan to book in the future.
