Wanted a different holiday experience. The ship decorations we're fantastic. Boarding was easy with better than average champagne. I thoroughly enjoyed dinner seating with other single travellers. Food was good not great. Some items too salty, I sent one item back after the first taste, special requests not accommodated on multiple nights. But other items were fabulous, like duck, lobster, and a vegetable turnover. The selection at Cafe Bacio are fabulous, especially tre leche cake. The cappuccino is good, not great. The regular coffee is acceptable. Do try the Spa Cafe for breakfast and lunch. They offer small plates of sandwiches, cold soup, salads, cold noodles all excellent. My favorite breakfast items are a half bagel, with peanut butter and assorted chopped fruit, also fig and nut bars.
The entertainment was hit and miss. I enjoyed the two comedians. Singers hired were great, one a Broadway star. Production shows were not wonderful. While the singers and dancers were very talented, the written material was not good.
I was in a balcony room 8115. It was very comfortable and very clean. Room steward Atish the best. I like that the bathroom has a night light. I'm not crazy about the soap, I'll bring my own next time. No shower cap is offered, so if needed bring it along.
