My mom and I went on the cruise together august 2018. For the most part it was absolutely perfect. This was my second carnival cruise and they have both been wonderful. there are a few reasons i didnt give this cruise a 5.The cabins are slightly dated and could use some revamping. Also one of the pools had really green water which was definitely unappealing. Also the pools got completely full to the point where it was impossible to get in at some points. However despite these things there were many reasons to give this cruise a 4. We did the chefs table dinner and that was incredible, I highly recommend it to everyone! We also did the steak house one night, my moms lobster tail was slightly undercooked but they quickly corrected it and gave a discount on the bill. The food in the buffet and dining room were always great. The dealers in the casino were extremely friendly and willing to help people who were new to blackjack. The shows and overall activities and entertainment were great. Overall this was an awesome cruise and I am looking forward to my next carnival cruise September 2019!
