Friends and family suggested we experience NCL.We chose a cruise out of San Juan to the Southern Caribbean. (Airfare was extremely pricey.) Everything went smoothly both embarking and disembarking.

We enjoyed Karaoke each evening and a couple of dance competitions. Elements was a good finish to the week. The Irish bar was a daily stop and we thoroughly enjoyed the bartenders. All other servers and staff were good, too.

Aqua was our preferred dining experience over the Venetian. It was more intimate, with less hustle and bustle. We also had the dining package. The French bistro was our favorite. The chef was excellent and entertaining at Tappanyaki. We least preferred Cagney's Steakhouse. Service was good but the food was bland.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

Our mini suite was spacious and inviting, along with the balcony. Our one complaint is that our room was on the 11th floor, directly below the Cafe. The constant scraping of chairs across the floor above was very annoying. I would recommend you look closely at the ship layout before confirming a room. Your cruise planner can also assist.
