We decided to try MCS. Overall we enjoyed our cruise. Ship is beautiful. Loved the sparkling staircase. Sports bar great. Mixed drinks below average. Slides/ water park are great. Service and crew was very good. Fellow passengers were fine, no more rude then any other cruise I’ve been on. Food in dining room was very good. Buffet was ok - redundant food. It wasn’t bad just same food again and again. Go to dining room for lunch for some variety. No track so difficult to walk deck and exercise area was too small and poor service. The towels were piled up and no guidance about time limits on machines. Our cabin attendant was good but some difficulty getting pool towels exchanged by cabin attendant in my brother’s cabin. They woul not do it but ours did. I liked the cabin lights with DND and Makeup cabin. Not sure why adults need a slide bracelet. It ruined our pictures to see it. They didn’t take a million pictures and hassle us which was nice. Room is small, not a lot of storage. Getting on and off was a breeze.
Cabin for 4. The bed was one of those couches that turned into a bunk bed. The couch was by balcony and closet by big bed.
We got off boat and signed up for a boat to Dunn River Falls. It was 40$ per adult, boat to falls was 20 mins and quite a ride, 1 hr with guide to climb falls and hour on beach. Tipped falls guide but was cheaper than by land and able to leave things on the boat, didn’t need locker.
Recommend taking bus to Cayman Turtle Center. It’s awesome for kids who want to snorkel but never have. They have a huge saltwater pool that looks like a big reef with great fish and tons of sea turtles you get to snorkel with. Great pics no waves or elements for kids to deal with. Also turtle touch tank. A freshwater pool with waterfall and slide. If you use AmEx you get a discount and bus is 2.50 per person per direction. Taxi is $8per person per direction.
Just walked around and shopped. Great day to be on boat. No lines st slides!
Walked to public beach which was good.
