Inspired to write this having read the reviews on here; some of which potentially misleading; and felt it important for those booked on future cruises to hear our perspective. Honeymoon holiday for a couple in our early 30s from the UK. We had an amazing time on Edge and we'd definitely sail Edge class again.
Let's start with the easy bits everyone seems to agree on.
New terminal at Port Everglades, very impressive, boarding took a matter of a few minutes and we were on board eating lunch and drinking all things fizzy!
A great sized room with plenty of storage and usable space. Control all lights, AC etc. from the app on your phone if you wanted to which was great. Not 100% convinced by the infinite veranda. You never feel outside, more like being sat by a window. We like the room cold so we kept it shut mostly! Bathroom a great size. No issues with the shower that others have mentioned? Also found the bed and pillows comfortable (each to their own there I guess). Attendant was excellent and daily room service breakfast in bed, superb! Overall, couldn't be happier.
Excursions were expensive so we made our own fun. Taxis are cheap if you're happy to pool with others. We took one to see the famous low landing planes. Had a good day. Not too much to go back for.
