This was our first time cruising with Norwegian. The free at sea offers stand out to us and we decided to try the Norwegian Pearl Christmas cruise to the western Caribbean from Tampa. My favorite part about this experience was the staff - particularly, room steward, pool and bar staff. Great service, always friendly and going above and beyond to exceed our expectations. The embarkation/disembarkation process was a bummer, though. Very disorganized, no communication, unclear instructions, crew seemed lost, the worst I've ever seen. Entertainment at the pool was also a bit under average based on our previous experience. In terms of food - although dinner was great at the main dininning rooms, the buffet was disapointing. Breakfast was the same thing every single day. And it was quite a challenge to find non-chicken options for lunch. And I am not a hard person to please at all in terms of food. The Pearl is also a smaller ship (around 2.3k guests, I think). We've only sailed bigger ships before this. We might give it another chance saliling a bigger ship next time because the free at sea is a very good deal for us.

The cabin was average. As an inside cabin, we were already expecting it to be very small. The bathroom exceeded our expectations, though. We find it bigger than average.
