We wanted to be gone over Christmas and this was a decent itinerary, and we were able to drive to the port. The price as good, and they through in the beverage package and the Pinnacle Grill.
Our cabin was small, but workable, and we loved the big walk in shower.
The boat was great.....nice public areas, lots of sitting areas, two pools, lots of places to eat, etc.
The cabin was a little tight, but functional. We split the beds into twins. The little sofa wound up a storage area, the cabinets were good storage. The bathroom was small....had to sit off-angle on the toilet. The shower was large and wonderful. Towels could be used to sand hardwood......very stiff and scratchy. The balcony was ok, with two chairs, an ottoman and a small table. Location was high and well to the front, so there was a bit of movement when the seas came up.
Big cruise port in an industrial part of town. A!A along the beach in Ft. Lauderdale is very nice.
We walked the old town on our own, then took a cab tour of the new town hotel area, the forts and a part of old town. Not exciting.
