A bucket list cruise. Plus we love Amsterdam and the Netherlands. Crew and staff were A+ in every area. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. The large TV had information about our course and the next days stop. The TV system crashed a few times but was repaired quickly.

Food was great and the servers were very attentive to our needs. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Bring extra cash to tip all the servers and the staff. They deserve it! Also, tip the bus drivers.The Viking web site had guidelines on how much to tip.

The tours were good, but we didn't expect to walk so much and so fast. We older guests sometimes had trouble keeping up with the tour speed. The sound system that Viking uses helped a lot.Radio receivers with ear buds were used to keep us linked with the tour guides when the tour group got so stretched out that we lost sight of the group leader. There are free tours at every stop and also tours that cost extra. Sometimes they overlap and you must choose one or the other. Bring good shoes for walking.
