We chose this cruise because we wanted to visit the Baltic area countries and a part of Russia. It more than met our expectations. The food and beverages were up to the highest Viking standards. The specialty restaurants were one of the trip highlights. The buffet meals contained such variety from appetizers to entrees, to desserts that anyone could enjoy a gourmet meal for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The focus on regional foods plus local beer and wines with lunch and dinner underline the quality of the food//beverage service. (As a seafood lover, I was even more impressed.) .The included tours were well organized, interesting and informative. We also enjoyed many of the entertainment and educational programs on board. The staff throughout the ship was always friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the local guides were also friendly and knowledgeable.

We have already scheduled another Viking cruise for the last two weeks of April,

Cabin Veranda

The cabin was excellent, with all the expected amenities, although a very great distance from the elevator. Cabin service staff was friendly and helpful.
