We decided on this cruise because of the ports of call and the ships amenities. Myself, wife, sons 18 & 20, daughter 14, and my son’s 20 year old gf. We stayed in two interior adjoining cabins which worked great for the group. We really didn’t spend much time there anyway. The cabin was clean, in good condition, and our cabin attendant Devin took great care of us and the cabin. The ship was still in great shape which I was wary of, due to a lot of negative reviews. The restaurants and dining rooms were very nice and food was always well prepared and tasty, again, was wary due to poor reviews that I’ve read. We started day 1 with 1st night done right at Chops (excellent dinner) highly recommend doing this on day one. We ate in the MDR the rest of the week until the final night, which we ate at Giovanni’s, again, excellent dinner, great service, very enjoyable experience. The week in the MDR was hard to beat, great service and excellent food.
The entertainment was very good. Went to the ice show, a singer, a comedian, and the best by far was Saturday Night Fever. Very well done. Great musical acts around the ship.
Did all RCL excursions due to the large group and ease of getting on/off the ship. We did Tulum Ruins in Cozumel, Stingray City and snorkeling in Cayman, and Dunn River Falls and Zip Line in Jamaica. My only complaint was the beach break/buffet that was connected to the Tulum Ruins. Food was horrible, and I wish they would have spent more time at the ruins and less at the beach.
Very clean and I good condition. Small, but adequate and what to be expected if you do any research. Our cabin attendant was alway around, keeping the room clean and picked up. He even got us some extra foam padding the first night, as several of us like a softer bed. Can’t say anything bad about the room.
Fun climb with a smaller group. Be prepared to tip. Everyone there is not shy about asking for tips.
This was at/over Dunn River Falls. Great equipment and staff. Probably my favorite excursion. Lots of fun.
