Cabin: Balcony

My daughter and I booked this cruise while the Horizon was still under construction. We booked a balcony cabin on Deck 9. The views from our balcony was great. Our cabin had a mini frig and sufficient closet and storage space for our things. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Our cabin steward was great. We ate most of our evening meals in the MDR. Had lunch at the Pig & Anchor the first day on board. This was a disappointment! The meats, although very tasty, were dry. Also had lunch at Guy's Burgers, which were very good. Had dinner one evening a the Italian restaurant and the meal was superb (I had the short rib meal). Our last night on board we had dinner at the steakhouse which was excellent!

The entertainment on board was very good. We enjoyed the shows in the Liquid Lounge.

The boarding process took us only 15 minutes. Debarkation was 38 minutes from start to finish through Customs.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Our cabin (twin beds) was very clean and comfortable. We had plenty of storage for our things. We quite enjoyed having a balcony to have some quiet time to enjoy the views. My only complaint would be the slamming of balcony doors by other cruisers.

Port Reviews

Ocho Rios

Loved Ocho Rios! Absolutely beautiful! Went off on our own, doing some shopping and exploring.

Cozumel

We went off on our own, shopping and eating our way around Cozumel. Really enjoyed this port and will return some day soon.
