I booked this trip because it was a decent price but I guess this was because they were working on parts of the ship prior to the dry dock. If I had known this I would have booked the dream instead and had 2 more days for my vacation. Many areas were not accessible and there was noise and smells, not what I want to see, hear or smell on my vacation. This ship is very hard to navigate and you felt like in a maze trying to get anywhere. Perhaps this is because areas were blocked. I would not sail on the triumph again and it is certainly showing its age with many areas looking very poorly. The crew were also not very friendly and did not seem happy to be on the Triumph either. Activties and crew engagement were lacking for those that don't want to hear the same 5 line dances with a DJ that doesn't see to know any other songs. I get that others like that and it gets the crowd going but it got really old and we started to avoid them. . There were 3 30 minute trivia events over 5 days with nothing much else going on in between except for the musical duos or acoustic guitat playing. Many people commented their disappointment so I don't think we were imaginging everything. We spent more time napping or watching TV. On a posiive note the shows were quite well done with a large troupe with productions we have not seen before.

Ok cabin, good access to elevators and stairs but it can be noisy with music from the lobby and loud people walking by late at night and early in the morning. We also had loud banging early one morning and it is 2 decks above the gangway so the noise could be from work being done on Deck 0. It is under the Excusion desk so I thought it would be super quiet. The room was your standard OV cabin and can use upgrading. You could feel the springs in the bed and the small TV remote up button didn't always work and we often loss TV signal. I only know this because the ship was lacking in activities so we spent more time in our room watching TV.
