We chose this cruise to experience the varied ports and wines along the route. We were not disappointed. We saw a lot of different sights and history. We visited the Luxembourg Memorial Cemetery which was truly an moving experience. The Rhine gorge was spectacular. The Mosel River views were beautiful. the crew was very attentive. The captain was welcoming and personable. We had to make a quick change to avoid the low water condition on the Rhine. That meant that we missed one port. Vantage and the Captain made the necessary adjustments in the itinerary. All of the passengers agreed and that made our cruise a little special. But we were able to see another port more fully. The captain even made a special effort to illuminate the towers of the Bridge at Remagen when we passed them at 11:30pm. That is the kind of attentiveness from the Vantage personnel that makes them a cut above others. I would take this cruise again.
