This was my fourth cruise with Azamara and the third on the Quest. I love Azamara because the ships are small, no children allowed and we are treated like one of the family.
There is little music played on deck - thank goodness. Staff quickly get to know you and you get a welcome when you return.
Boarding is well organised and painless. We had to wait a long time for our luggage to arrive and we started sailaway before we finally got ours.

A quiet cabin midships. Balcony with table and two chairs. Small settee, coffee table and a desk and chair. Bathroom is compact but if you get organised is not a problem. Good wardrobe space and drawers and cupboards. Very comfortable bed and wonderful pillows. Clean white fluffy towels and lots of toiletries.
We were staying a few days before boarding the ship and went on our own excursions, generally shopping, walking and the Botanical Gardens which are beautiful and easy to reach using the mrt which is fast, clean and cheap.
We walked through the city seeing all the main sights finishing up with tea at the Rex Royal Hotel.
Well worth the drive to this amazing place. The Summer Palace was disappointing as it was so new after the beauty of Ayutthaya.
We had a river cruise along the river of Kings with lunch. A great way to return to the city after the Summer Palace.
Quite a spectacular site
We did a discovery Bangkok tour taking in the temples
