We have just returned from a 5 night Western Caribbean cruise on the Celebrity Infinity. We booked about a month ago and got a great Florida resident rate on a Royal Suite. It was our first time on Celebrity, although we have done more than 60 cruises, mostly on the all-inclusive lines of Seabourn, Silversea and Crystal. We wanted to compare the “Suite Life” on Celebrity to those lines, although our expectations were lower for a mass market ship. We had two sea days and ports of Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico.
We were amazingly surprised at how wonderful the cruise was. Service, food, cabin and fellow guests all surpassed our expectations. Our Royal Suite on deck 6 was very spacious with separate living room with dining table, sofas, big screen tv and slider to the balcony. There was a large bathroom with two sinks, Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. The bedroom was very comfortable with a great bed and pillows, round window looking out from the bed to the sea and slider to the balcony. There was a dressing area as well as a large number of cabinets and a walk in closet with safe. The balcony was huge with a table and four chairs, two recliners and a Jacuzzi tub which was wonderful to sit it while sailing the Caribbean.
We had a fantastic butler, Arsim, who took care of everything for us from having the bar set up we requested (the Suite included the Premium drinks package) to helping us connect to the free wifi included with the cabin. He filled our minibar with our favorite drinks and brought appetizers before dinner. Every morning at 6:30 he brought our requested pot of strong coffee with espresso added. He was pleasant and efficient and one of the best butlers we have ever had. Our cabin steward, Javier, also was excellent, keeping everything clean and neat and very welcoming with a Good Morning greeting each day. Just an excellent pair.
Wonderfully spacious, clean and relaxing.
