Was disappointed by several things. We are Elite level. There is no elite or suite lounge in the terminal. We were on the ship 15 minutes after arriving. We were permitted to drop off carry on luggage immediately, which was nice. the main pool is very long. The two Jacuzzi by the main pool are actually a deck above. This was a bad design. Who wants to walk a deck up to get in the Jacuzzi when you are sitting by the pool? The solarium has a Jacuzzi next to its pool, The pools have ladders to get into them. I was disappointed that there were not steps into the pools. RCL has steps into their solarium pools. I can handle the ladders but many older people said the ladders are difficult for them so they did not use the pools. Never saw a drink waiter in the Solarium. We had to go out to main pool bar to get drinks. We were booked into Normandie Restaurant for 3 nights. We ate there the first night. It was good. The second day I called Guest Services and said I wanted to change restaurants. They said just walk into any of the 4 main restaurants and they will accommodate you. So the second night we went to the Cosmopolitan. The hostess was gracious. We were seated in a few minutes. The third night we went to the Tuscan Restaurant. The hostess said we had to go the the Normandie because they were holding a table for us. NOT true. Guest Services told me they hold reservations for 15 minutes and then seat others. I told the hostess that Guest Services told me I could walk in. She seemed very annoyed and told me she could not even see if we could be seated for another 20 minutes. I told her to forget it and we went to the Normandie where the staff was nice. Eden was VERY weird. I think it was designed by an old hippie who use to do LSD. The entertainment was weird in the theater. I am 58. Maybe I just can not appreciate weird artsy fartsy shows. There was no Elite or Suite lounge. The gift shop was ridiculous. A tee shirt was $100, a pair of mens swim shorts was $250, etc.... The gift shop was a joke. I talked to many people on the ship who were not happy with the shop. We managed to sit on the Magic Carpet twice. Once for Sail away which was very nice. The third day we tried to get out there on the Sea day. We were told it was full. So we walked around for an hour. We came back and asked again and were denied. I went out of the deck and could see there were seats. We went back inside and when the nasty employee by the door moved to answer someone else's question we got past her and went out there. There were several seats open. I do not know what her control issues were. We were told to go to the Tuscan Restaurant on Deck 3 for a debarkation lounge. There was only one other couple there. They asked what time we would be taken off. It was 7am. We were told when the ship clears we could go up to Deck 5 and get in line to get off. So the only thing we accomplished by going to the lounge was to put us at the back of the line. None of us were happy. We told the employee in the Tuscan that RCL would walk you of first. She said she was not going to do that. So we decided to go up to Deck 5. We told the employee on that deck what happened and how we felt about it. She told us to stay by her and move next to the wall. When the ship cleared she let us leave first. I heard several other elite members in line complaining. The Cabin was nice. I thought we had plenty of storage. There are USB ports next to the bed and ports on the desk. I was glad we sailed in the 3 day preview. I will not be returning to Edge until a few things change. They do not have purell in front of restaurants. They have sinks in the buffet but many people do not use them. Just a matter of time before Noro Virus is on the ship.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View Stateroom with Veranda

Cabin 1A

The hair dryer can be used in the bathroom. That is a change for the good. The bed is very firm. I like it, my husband did not. The TV was large. It may have been 50 inches. We did not use the Celebrity App. We managed to use the room without it. There are 3 drawers in the room and 3 drawers in the closet.
