We always choose a cruise that stops at Saint Martin so we can spend a great nude day at Club Orient. We live halfway between Port Everglades and Port Canaveral so there are plenty of cruises to choose from. We prefer Carnival because we feel we get the best value and we don't like those mega ships with 6,000 cruisers.
We had a boarding time of 1:00 - 1:30. Boarding went smoothly and we were able to go straight to our cabin (8152) and stow our luggage - we get everything into a 22" carry-on and a 24" suitcase plus a backpack.
We found that our balcony cabin was a little smaller than we've encountered on other Carnival ships - my wife could not sit at the dresser and apply her make-up due to the refrigerator being there. This was never a problem on other Carnival ships.
