Off to NZ for 12 days .Easy boarding at OPT Sydney and first impressions were very good indeed. The ship is in great condition as you would expect for its age, but more importantly it is very clean, and cleaning was in progress 24 hours a day. We are seasoned cruisers and know what to expect.
We heard all the usual whinges like
- there is no promenade deck . there is on deck 7 about one third the length of the ship

We caught the ferry to Devonport for lunch and back. Recommended

We caught the shuttle in from Port Chalmers and walked to the Railway station really amazing and also the museum next door, plus Spates brewery - YAY
